My Counselling Practice
I hope the information here will be helpful if you are thinking of contacting a counsellor, especially for the first time. Making the decision to see a counsellor and come for therapy is a big step – but it can be a very positive one and I have over twenty years’ experience of working with people from all walks of life, and with all kinds of needs.
I offer short and long term counselling in Hinckley, I see people (individuals 18 and over) usually on a weekly or fortnightly basis. I have over 20 years’ experience working as a counsellor, working with a range of individuals and organisations including charities, the NHS, businesses and a variety of Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP’s).
My work with organisations allows me to keep abreast of workplace issues, the impact of organisational change and increasing demands. I am keen to support those struggling with the management of change, which can lead to stress and emotional concerns that impact on work and home life. I am available to offer contracts with EAP’s, GPs or organisations.
I am a Registered and Accredited Member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP).
Some issues that I have particular experience of working with as a counsellor include:
- Addiction
- Anger issues
- Anxiety (fear)
- Bereavement, grief and loss
- Carer support
- Chronic fatigue syndrome/ME/Fibromyalgia
- Depression (sadness)
- Living with health problems
- Relationship difficulties
- Self-esteem

- Trauma
My clients typically come from the East and West Midlands area, but you are welcome to contact me wherever you are based, as I also offer counselling via Skype and telephone, to suit your personal requirements.
