Transactional analysis, a social psychology theory originally developed by Dr. Eric Berne in the 1950s, can be used to improve communication and understand your own way of behaving and communicating.
We’ve all experienced communication breakdowns. One minute you’re having a normal conversation with someone, and the next you’re arguing, feeling misunderstood and confused or one of you has shut down, whatever has happened, there has been a breakdown. The conversation has failed to achieve its goal, whether it’s being heard, solving a problem, feeling connected, making a decision or improving your relationship.
This one day workshop explores how Transactional Analysis (TA) can make a difference to you, your relationships and your clients. It is designed for individuals who want to understand this fascinating theory more and be able to use this understanding in their lives to improve all kinds of communication and relationships. No previous knowledge of TA is required, as we will build from the ‘basics’ and increase your confidence in use of this timeless theory.
