May I invite you to our next planned annual encounter group, in the beautiful setting of Launde Abbey, East Norton, Leicestershire. This provision offers an unstructured weekend where our only fixed points of contact are around meal times. These “Encounter” experiences are organised for those who have an interest and respect in the Person Centred Approach, and everyone is equally responsible for the process.
Launde Abbey is set in the privacy of its own peaceful valley in the heart of the East Leicestershire surrounded by 11 acres of garden and over 400 acres of pasture and woodland. Launde Abbey is an Elizabethan manor house built on the site of an Augustinian Priory founded in 1119. The Chapel is used for daily worship by the resident community and of course, visitors.
